And if you find a sofa that you love and its cushions have seen better days then why not use our cushion replacement service? All you need to do is order one of our collection packs, send us your cushion covers and we will replace the old and sagging foam to create soft and luxurious foam cushions for your pre-loved sofa in a matter of days!

3. Painting
If you are a first-time decorator there is plenty of advice and help either from your local DIY store or online. Make sure you keep the colours neutral if you intend on having vibrant accessories and furniture or if your furniture is muted then a bold colour on one or two of the walls can look amazing! Colours trending in 2023 include powerful pinks and glorious greens. With Viva Magenta revealed as Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2023, you could use rich, deep pinks with elegant red and purple undertones, for example, as a theme for your living room.
4. Introduce texture
Rather than investing in carpet, why not sand down the wooden floorboards, if you have them, either paint a neutral colour or stain or polish them to give them a fresh look and add a couple of colourful rugs. Place one or two in front of your sofa and, to anchor the room together and pile on cushions and throws in contrasting colours. They can make a huge difference to the aesthetic of your living room.
